What is the aim of the Primary Pilates & Mindfulness program?


The aim of this program is to provide teachers in both the Primary and Post-Primary sector with an easy to use digital resource which enables them to develop the physical and mental well-being of their pupils.

Each video is designed to help students and staff strengthen their bodies and increase their self-esteem, stamina, abdominal health and sleep.

BIO

Kevin Beagan – Creator of Primary Pilates & Mindfulness


With over two decades of experience in education, I have been a dedicated Primary School teacher since 2004 committed to supporting children’s academic, physical and emotional development.  Alongside my teaching career. I earned a qualification in Sports Science from the Open University, which allowed me to build a strong foundation in Biomechanics, Movement Science and Child Development.

After qualifying in Level 4 Mat-Based Pilates in 2016, I established a Pilates business that has grown into a thriving and respected practice.  What began as a passion alongside teaching, quickly developed into a successful enterprise, offering high-quality, evidence-based Pilates classes to a wide range of clients.  My work focuses on safe, progressive programming that supports strength, mobility, posture, and long-term well-being. 

I now serve as a Senior Pilates Tutor at the National Training Centre in Dublin, where I train and mentor instructors to deliver Pilates with professionalism and clinical awareness.  My specialist interest lies in Pilates for rehabilitation and in promoting physical well-being among school pupils.  By combining my expertise in Primary Education, Sports Science and Pilates, I am passionate about making movement accessible, purposeful and transformative for all ages.
